Factor

This field determines the final calculation for the transaction:

(Quantity * Unit Rate * Factor) = Transaction Total.

The factor is usually 1.0000.

• The factor is greater than 1.0000 for overtime allowances. For example, if an overtime allowance pays time and a half, then Factor = 1.5000.
• The factor is less than 1.0000 for penalty-type allowances such as shift allowance.

PayGlobal does not use the Factor field to calculate transaction values for L-type allowances.
