Exolvo uses the salary or wages amount to determine whether the employee has earned the minimum monthly amount ($450 or more) and is therefore eligible for superannuation guarantee contributions. See Superannuation Rates and Thresholds.
Salary or wages amount is the total remuneration paid to the employee. It includes most employment payments, but it excludes payments such as expense reimbursement, dividends, and top-up payments where no work is performed.
