Overview
The STP Start Date applies to STP Phase 1 versions 1 - 3.
You must set the STP Start Date for each Payer in your database before you close the first pay you want to report using STP.
Once the date has been entered, the next pay you close with a payment date falling on/after that date will generate an STP Payroll Event Submission.
You can enter any date on/after 1 July 2017.
For employers that had 20 or more employees as at 1 April 2018, it is compulsory to start using STP from 1 July 2018.
Note: Entering a date after 1 July 2018, is only expected if you are existing PayGlobal customer prior to 1 July 2018 that has obtained an STP deferral date. Or, you were not PayGlobal customer as at 1 July 2018.
IMPORTANT: Once the date is set and the first pay sequence for that payer has been closed, you will not be able to change the date.
