1. Total by timesheet - Day by day

The employee's timesheet captures the total hours that they work in each area for each day. The employee can submit their timesheet daily and their manager can approve those timesheets each day.

When your company is using Day by day, the day header is coloured to show the status of the timesheet for the day. This example uses the following colours.

In the timesheet image above:

• Monday's timeband was submitted and has been approved by the manager.
• Tuesday's timeband was submitted, but has not been approved.
• The remaining timebands have not been submitted.
