If you use My Time to enter timesheets, then your timesheet will affect when you can apply for leave.
Even if you normally have the security to edit and delete your leave requests, neither you nor your manager can add, edit or delete a leave request if the start date of the request is in a period that has an approved timesheet or an approved timesheet day.
In the following example, an employee's timesheets for 1 July - 2 August have been approved. When the employee creates a new leave request, the dates on the leave calendar before 2 August are now unavailable.
