Employee Login

  1. Follow the directions from your HR or Payroll department to access the Self-Service Website.

When you access ESS, the first page that you will see is Employee Login.

Note: The Employee Login screen is specific to each company. For example, your Username may be auto-filled or you may be logged on automatically.

  2. Enter your Username and Password.
  3. Click Login.

If your username and password are correct, then you will go to the home page.

If your username and/or password are incorrect, then you will see an error message.

    Check the following:

If you forgot your password or if this were your first visit to ESS, then you would click one of the following links:

These two links have similar processes.

  4. Multi factor Authentication(MFA), if your company is enabled for Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) and you have not setup MFA
    1. You will be presented with a form to ‘Register for Two-Factor Authentication Via App’. You can proceed in one of two ways:
      • Using an authenticator application

      Open authentication app on your smartphone (E.g. Google Authenticator), scan the on screen QR code;

      or

Copy the code (provided below the QR code) into an authenticator application manually (see documentation for the specific application you are using for more information).

      • Using Time-based One-Time Password(TOTP) Email

If your work email is already added in your employee details, when you select the link to register via email, you will receive the authentication code via email. The code is valid for 5 minutes.

You will be presented with a form to ‘Register for Two-Factor Authentication Via Email’

    2. Enter the code from your authenticator application or email into the field labeled ‘Enter Code’.
    3. Select the ‘Confirm’ button.

You will now be logged into the ESS site.

During the MFA setup grace period starting from the ESS employee MFA start date, employees can use the 'Skip' button to bypass the MFA registration process. The system notifies them of the remaining days to complete MFA setup, giving them the option to either return to the registration or continue to access the Self-Service.

  5. Multi factor Authentication(MFA), if your company is enabled for Multi-factor authentication (MFA) and you have already setup MFA
    1. You will be presented with a form to ‘Confirm Two-Factor Authentication’.
    2. Enter the code from your authenticator application or email into the field labeled ‘Enter Code’.
    3. Select the ‘Confirm’ button.

You will now be logged into the ESS site.

Important: You may not see these links, depending on the authentication mode that your company uses.
