All STP data is encrypted both in transmission and at rest.
Payroll data is not viewable at any point with only metadata being available to MYOB in order to monitor the overall performance of the system.
The MYOB SBR service is assessed under OWASP Application Security Standard level 3 and undergoes annual penetration testing by an external 3rd party.
The ATO requires all DSPs to complete product certification before allowing employers to submit payroll data via STP. Certification complies with ISO 27001 the standard for Information Security Management Systems.
What level of Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol is used?
PayGlobal uses TLS 1.2 protocol if it is supported and enabled on the Operating System (TLS 1.2 is recommended). PayGlobal will fall back if the OS doesn’t enable TLS1.2.
