Troubleshooting - Submissions failing after upgrade
Overview
You've upgraded your PayGlobal database version and the submissions sent after upgrade are failing. You've check the Submissions Messages window and it displays:
"STP client certificate thumbprint not specified".
This means that as part of the upgrade process, the person doing the upgrade has not updated the PayGlobal.Business.Net.dll.config.
Problem is that the "Host" and/or "Thumbprint" values will be empty
Resolution:
- If the old version is prior to 4.40 and the old version folder is still available, copy the values from stpSettings.default.config from the old version into StpSettings section of PayGlobal.Business.Net.dll.config in the new version folder.
- If the old version is 4.40 or greater, copy PayGlobal.Business.Net.dll.config from the old version to the new version folder.
- If the old version folder is no longer available, please contact the PayGlobal Support team to get the "Host" or "Thumbprint" values .
