Overtime

In STP Phase 1 - Overtime was part of "Gross Payments"

In STP Phase 2 - Overtime is reported separately as requirement of Services Australia

Each allowance representing the following must have the the ATO Reporting Category set to "Over-time":

• beyond their ordinary hours of work
• outside the agreed number of hours
• outside the spread of ordinary hours (the times of the day ordinary hours can be worked).

  Note: Shift penalties and breaches of rest break payments are expected to be reported as Gross Payments - not Overtime, do not set an ATO reporting category for these allowances
