Payroll Procedures

This section explains the process of importing timebands and allowances into PayGlobal from ESS. It also covers the leave request process, how to process a leave request from ESS, and viewing leave requests in PayGlobal Transaction View.

 Most of the configuration in this section should already have been configured for you. However, you need to understand how these settings work in case you need to make any changes.

Important

Restoring your PayGlobal database will severely affect ESS.

• Changes to the Self-Service Administration Site configuration are lost. The system administrator must restore to their last configuration backup.

  You must check that the system administrator has a backup of the Self-Service Administration Site before you start the restore.

• Requests that were entered after the date that you are restoring back to will be lost. For example:
  • Leave requests
  • Timebands
  • Allowances
  • Other workflows, such as new position requests.

  You must have procedures in place to ensure that these requests can be recovered.
