4. Query to Exclude "Virtual" Employees

The employee record for a virtual employee must be set up so it does not affect other areas of PayGlobal. In particular, compliance and legislative reports must exclude these employees. Set up a “default” employee query that can be used to exclude employees with a status of “VIRTUAL”. Set up one for use in PayGlobal and another for use in ESS.

  1. In PayGlobal, navigate to Employees.
  2. Click the View Queries tab.
  3. Press Insert to add a new query.
  4. Type a Code and Description.
  5. Click Save.

    You have to save the Query record before you can add the clauses.

  6. Click Edit.
  7. Click the No Restrictions clause and press Enter.
  8. Build the following clause:

    Employee status code

    is not equal to

    VIRTUAL

    Virtual Query
