Submit Development Plan

When you complete your Development plan, you can submit it to your manager for approval.

• Click Submit.

  A message appears: The Learning and Development plan has now been submitted for approval.

Your manager will approve or decline your plan, or send it back for review.

Your manager approves your Development plan

If your manager approves your Development plan, then the following processes occur:

• The Status = Approved.
• You can no longer edit the plan.
• You will receive an email to notify you that your manager has approved your Development plan.
• The Search icon appears beside each course type.
• You can now book yourself on the course types that you requested in your plan.

Your manager sends your Development plan back for review

If your manager sends your Development plan back for review, then the following processes occur:

• The Status = Pending.
• You will receive an email to notify you that your manager has requested a discussion regarding your Development plan.
• The Search icon does not appear beside each course type so you cannot book yourself on a course.

Your manager declines your Development plan

If your manager declines your Development plan, then the following processes occur:

• The Status = Pending.
• You will receive an email to notify you that your manager has declined your Development plan.
• The Search icon does not appear beside each course type so you cannot book yourself on a course.
