Hazard Approval

The process that occurs after you successfully submit the hazard depends on whether your company requires your manager to approve the hazard.

Manager is required to approve hazard

• Your manager is advised by email.
• A Hazard notification is created on your Active Items - Current tab with Status = Submitted.
• An Hazard notification is created in your manager’s Active Items.

  

  Note: You can track the progress of the hazard in your Active Items.

When your manager approves the hazard, the hazard register is updated, and you and your OSH representative are notified by email whether the hazard was approved or declined.

Manager is not required to approve hazard

• A Hazard notification is created on your Active Items - History tab with Status = Complete.

  Your manager will not see the Hazard active item.

• The hazard is saved directly to the hazard register.
