Development Goal

Development goals are measurable, short-term objectives that your employee wants to achieve. Goals will normally relate to an employee's current position, and their department's overall goals.

To add a goal, click Add icon beside Development Plan on the Performance Review page.

The different sections of the Development Goal page are explained in the following table and image.

1 Stamp

Active items: The details of the goal that the employee wants to achieve. A clearly defined outcome should be included so success can be measured.

When this form is saved, the items in this list will be bulleted.

2 Stamp_75

Target completion date: The date that this goal should be completed by.

The Actual completion date will normally be completed in the employee's next review. Goals without an Actual completion date will be carried over to the employee's next performance review.

3 Stamp

Documents: Click Add icon to attach a document or image that relates to the goal.

Submit: Submit the completed Development Goal to return to the Performance Review page.
