When the Period Calendars Creation Tool creates calendar details it needs to know how to link the entities into the calendar. The Link PTD by tab allows you to determine whether these links are based on "PTD Period End Date" or "PTD Payment Date" for each entity. However, some settings are determined by national legislation so you cannot change them.
The following table shows the Link PTD by field settings that are available for each country. The highlighted settings are legislatively ordained, so you cannot change them, and some settings are not available for specific countries. You can change optional settings and most default to “PTD Period End Date” except the Tax PTD for the United Kingdom, which defaults to “PTD Payment Date”.
