Overview
The navigation and customisation features in the Single Touch Payroll Manager Tool are a little different to the rest of the PayGlobal's forms and grids functionality.
Any adjustments made to the display of the grid are saved so that the next time you access the STP Manager Tool, you see the same layout.
This topic explains each of the features
Customising Columns
You can adjust which columns are displayed in each tab page by right-clicking anywhere in the column header row.
A list of available columns is displayed. Tick or untick the ones you want.
Filtering
You can adjust what data you want to see on the All Submissions, Pays and Finalisations tab page by right-clicking anywhere in the column header row and then selecting Filtering. For columns that show a date/time value, filtering is available at the month level.
While any filter is in effect on a column, an icon will appear to the left of the column header text.
This may be helpful if you only want view details for a particular pay period, payer or submission status.
Note: Filtering is not enabled on every column. In particular, the Description column is not filterable, as every row would normally have a unique value in this column.
Sorting
You can adjust the sort order of any page by single left click of a column header. A small up of down arrow above the column header indicates what column the data is sorted on and whether it is in ascending descending order.
Grouping
There is no grouping function at this time
Resize window
In addition to the usual minimum and maximise buttons you can also click and drag any side or corner of the window to resize it.
As you do this you may see the horizontal and vertical scroll bars appear/display as the system deems them necessary to display.
