Viewing Leave Requests

Note: To apply for leave, employees must have at least one closed payroll period.

If a manager attempts to approve leave and there is not at least one closed payroll period, then they are redirected to the following error page:

Unable to approve leave request due to data set up error. Please contact your HR department.

After an employee submits a leave request and their manager approves it, the leave application is forwarded to the PayGlobal database. You can view leave requests in PayGlobal Transaction View.

Each leave request has a Start and End date. The leave request may be split into different pay periods so that the leave is paid at the correct time. When a leave request is split into different pay periods, it is assigned to a module. The module determines how PayGlobal will treat the leave request.
