Would you like to watch the Employee Leave video? You must be connected to the internet. When you view a video, you can press Ctrl and use your mouse scroll wheel to resize the video. You should be able to see the controls at the bottom of the screen, which allow you to pause or rewind the video. |
Complete your leave request details and then submit your request to your manager for approval.
Note: Alternatively, your manager can enter a leave request, such as sick leave for you.
The leave request procedure that you use may vary depending on how PayGlobal has been set up to handle leave for you. Ask your payroll person which leave request setup you have.
This section explains the following leave request setups:
ESS will use the profiled hours that are set up in PayGlobal for you. If you work the same hours every week, then you will probably have profiled hours.
ESS will use the roster that has been set up in PayGlobal for you. If the days that you work follow a pattern, which may change over a number of weeks, then you may have rostered hours.
If you work different hours and days each week, then the days that you are expected to work will probably not be set up in PayGlobal for you. If you do not have profiled or rostered hours, then you will need to manually enter the hours that you would have worked.
If you cannot use ESS to submit your leave requests, then the following message appears when you click the New Request tab: "You cannot use self-service to apply for leave".
Your leave request setup may change, which will affect leave requests that span the two setups (see View Roster - Change in Setup).
