In ETP Process, the Decide whether a payment is an ETP table shows which employee termination payments are ETPs. If the employee has no ETPs (such as a casual employee):
Example
Linda Johnstone is a weekly employee who has found a new job, and her termination date is 03/07/2016 (Friday). Linda received her final week’s pay in Standard Pay #W/1, end date 05/07/2016 (Sunday). You will create Linda's termination transaction in a manual pay rather than running it in a standard pay to avoid delays in the pay for the whole organisation if any problems occur with Linda's pay.
Important: If the standard pay containing Linda’s final pay cannot be processed and closed before her manual pay, then manual pay processing will fail. You would need to remove Linda’s pay header from the standard pay and make the final pay in a manual pay.
