Leave in Open Actual Pays

Overview

This topic describes what happens to approved leave requests in Daily View for the Time and Attendance module

Opening the Actual Pay

When you run Open Actual, PayGlobal looks for approved leave requests from ESS (also identified in PayGlobal as Employee Leave Request records with Module = T).

Given you cannot apply for leave if you don't have a roster, when you open Actuals it is assumed that there have been no changes to the roster since the leave was approved.

After Opening the Actual Pay (and before other T&A processes are completed)

Upon a leave request being approved in ESS, PayGlobal automatically creates a leave timeband(s) for that request provided all the following conditions are met:

If these conditions are not met the leave request is flagged to be processed in payroll, i.e. Employee Leave Request records with Module = P

T&A processes and LOP

Once you start completing T&A processes, how the LOP feature treats the leave request is dependant on the process run.

Reset Actuals

If you run Reset Actuals, any leave requests previously included in the Actual Pay will only be re-inserted when you re-run:
