LOP Business Rule - Leave takes precedence
This topic describes what happens to approved leave requests in Daily View for the Time and Attendance module when you run the Import Actual Timebands command.
This topic assumes the employee passes the validation checks for Actual Pays
When a leave request is approved before Actuals are imported, PayGlobal behaves the same as Leave in Open Roster Pays.
PayGlobal creates a leave timeband for all or part of the leave request that falls within either the Rostered timeband or Actual Timeband, i.e. if the Actuals stretches the Roster then the Actuals time is used.
For example, lets say your employee was "rostered" to work from 9am til 3pm but the imported Actual Timeband shows they worked from 10am till 5pm, then PayGlobal will allow leave to be slotted into the day between 9am and 5pm.
Any part of the leave request that falls outside of the 9am to 5pm period is ignored and as a result the Units requested is reduced to reflect the time that falls within 9am and 5pm.
