Timesheet example - Allowances

Employees enter allowances in My Allowances. Managers can enter allowances on behalf of an employee in Manager Options | Employee Allowances.

An employee's leave and timesheet settings do not affect allowances.

Brent submits the following car allowance.

When the employee's manager approves the allowance, it is written to the CSV file in the Allowance output directory.

You will import this file directly into Transaction View using the following process:

1. Open Standard Pay
2. Import Pay.

After you Import Pay, you can view the car allowance in Transaction View. The following image also shows the timebands entered in Timesheet example - 1. Total by timesheet.
